What is U.S. Bank Go Mobile?

U.S. Bank Go Mobile Payment Service allows you to make purchases at your favorite stores, restaurants or other businesses by just placing your iPhone® over a secure payment terminal.

Available to new U.S. Bank FlexPerks® Travel Rewards Visa Signature® cardmembers, U.S. Bank Go Mobile is a secure payment service that works with a convenient app and a custom case for your iPhone 4 or 4S that is equipped with an NFC (Near Field Communication) payment chip.

The custom U.S. Bank Go Mobile Case also has an extended battery that can be used to charge your iPhone, extending battery life by more than 50%. Forget about fumbling with your bills and coins. With U.S. Bank Go Mobile Payment Service, you can make purchases quickly, conveniently and securely with just a wave of your hand.

How does Flow Work?

U.S. Bank Go Mobile Payment Service enables your iPhone to securely communicate and make mobile payments at Visa payWave®-enabled readers.
Here’s how it works:

  1. After you’ve downloaded the U.S. Bank Go Mobile app, follow the on-screen prompts to apply for the U.S. Bank FlexPerks Travel Rewards Visa Signature card. Once approved, follow the on-screen prompts to opt into the U.S. Bank Go Mobile Beta. We’ll send you a U.S. Bank Go Mobile Case and battery pack for your iPhone, along with your FlexPerks Travel Rewards Visa Signature card.

  2. The U.S. Bank Go Mobile Case is equipped with an NFC (Near Field Communication) microSD payment chip for mobile payments. After you’ve activated your FlexPerks Travel Rewards Visa Signature card, simply pop the U.S. Bank Go Mobile Case onto your iPhone 4 or 4S, open the U.S. Bank Go Mobile app and create your personal passcode. That’s it. You’re ready to go.

  3. On your next shopping trip, look for this symbol at Visa payWave-enabled readers at your favorite retailers. At the register, open the U.S. Bank Go Mobile app, select “pay,” enter your passcode and place your iPhone 1-2 inches above the terminal reader.

The payment will be processed instantly using your U.S. Bank FlexPerks Travel Rewards Visa Signature account. Payments made with U.S. Bank Go Mobile are authorized, processed and billed to your Visa account the same way as traditional payments. U.S. Bank Go Mobile is simple, secure and gets you on your way faster.

How do I get it?

To try it out for yourself, download the U.S. Bank Go Mobile app from the App Store or visit one of our retail branches in Portland or Salt Lake City for details from one of our bankers. You'll also need an iPhone 4 or 4S and to qualify for a U.S. Bank FlexPerks Travel Rewards Visa Signature card to use the U.S. Bank Go Mobile Payment Service.

Paying with U.S. Bank Go Mobile Payment Service comes with multiple layers of security, including bank-grade encryption, passcode protection, strong privacy protection, zero fraud liability and real-time fraud monitoring. Checkout terminals can process only one device at a time, minimizing transaction errors. And your device never leaves your control during a transaction, further reducing the risk of fraud or loss.

If your U.S. Bank Go Mobile Case is lost or stolen, just call our 24/7 cardmember services at 877-978-7446 (outside U.S. or Canada, 701-461-1552, call collect; TDD 888-352-6455), and we’ll immediately disable the payment functionality.
